Welcome to Lakebones, a screen printing adventure started by three friends named Jimmy, Dave, and Brian (Teddy). We all grew up together on Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes region of Western New York. We silkscreen all of our products by hand, and we usually have fun doing it. We hope that you choose to also engage in fun while wearing your shirt and continue this fine tradition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely.  If you're Interested in carrying Lakebones products for sale out of your store/business/trunk, go ahead and contact us. If you like us enough, we'll even add you to our retail partners page!

Yes, this is possible! For wholesale customers, we can offer unique shirt/ink color variations on our existing designs as well as custom printing options for your business, event, family outing, party, or land war in Asia.

Can I commission a one of a kind shirt/hoodie/onesie?

To make your torso look better. To make your friends envious. To give as a gift. To resell for a profit. Because you like the Finger Lakes or want to support us.

Why should I buy a shirt?

Do you guys know what you're doing?

Yes we do. We have been doing this since 2013 and have sold literally dozens of shirts by the hundreds. Teddy has worked as a graphic designer and artist for many years, so obviously we put him in charge of making coffee while Dave and Jimmy use the printing press. Or the opposite of that. Many of our sales are to repeat customers and we hope you will want to make more than one purchase.

What kind of shirts are these?

Unless noted, everything is printed using water-based, environmentally friendly inks onto 50/50 cotton/poly heathered shirts.. All of our screens are made from from original high resolution files, burned into a silkscreen with !SCIENCE! (I think it involves chemicals or possibly lasers) then we squeeze ink through it onto the chosen ink receptacle. It is the unique combination of water based ink, 50/50 shirts, and hand printing that make true craft shirts.

Do these shirts look good?

Yes, we work hard to make them look nice.
